Darma Studio Terms and Conditions
Please read before purchasing memberships, passes, and products.
Memberships and Passes:
- Memberships and passes are a purchased product, not a monthly recurring service.
- There are no refunds on memberships and passes, except for the Flexible Membership detailed below.
- Memberships and passes are personal and non-transferable (except in special cases with studio approval).
- Flexible Membership: Annual members have the option to cancel at the end of any full month of the membership, with written notice. Cancellation within the first two months will be charged at the monthly rate. Cancellation within the first 5 months will be charged at the 3-month membership rate. Cancellation within 6-11 months will be charged at the 6-month membership rate. There is no credit for partial months.
- The refund is processed on the credit card. For other memberships, cancellation is as per the laws of the State of Israel.
- Membership Conversion: Memberships can be converted and the monthly class quantity can be increased or decreased as needed, under the following conditions: The conversion is for the full remaining membership and not a partial amount. If moving to a lower-priced membership, there is no cash refund, only an extension of the membership time. If moving to a higher-priced membership, the difference is added.
Freezes: Membership extensions against unused time. Annual memberships only can be frozen for up to 21 days, with advance notice only (no retroactive freezes), minimum 7 days per freeze. Freezes do not affect the calculation of refunds upon membership cancellation, which remains unchanged and is calculated based on the purchase date. Freezes do not stop or interrupt credit card payments.
Medical Approvals: With a medical certificate of inability to practice yoga, including relevant dates, the membership or pass validity will be extended accordingly. A refund for medical reasons will only be given if yoga cannot be practiced permanently.
Studio Closures: In the event of studio class cancellations, a freeze will be added to all memberships and passes for the closure period. No freeze will be added for periods with outdoor in-person classes. If Zoom/online classes were offered, participation in those classes counts as usage and will cancel the freeze option for that time.
The Darma Center operates according to Ministry of Health regulations, and participation in classes will be subject to these ever-changing regulations. - Cancellation of enrollment in workshops, courses, private sessions, etc. will be as stated in the registration form for that event.
Kids Yoga:
-Cancellation with 4 classes' notice (can attend those classes).
-It is allowed to cancel only until Passover, after which payment is due until the end of the year.
- If classes are cancelled for objective reasons, the fees will be refunded.
- Classes will be held in the studio or outdoors as per Ministry of Health guidelines, when possible.
Darma Store Products:
- Products purchased at the Dharma Store can be returned within 14 days, or clothing and baby carriers within 3 days, as long as the product and packaging are brand new, including tags. Used, opened, or damaged products cannot be exchanged or refunded. - A cash refund can be issued with a 5% deduction, as per law, or a credit toward membership, passes, and products.
- The delivery will arrive at the customer's home or at a pickup point (depending on the type of delivery ordered), within 7 business days of completing the order.
- Defective products will be replaced with an identical product or one in a different color. If the product is unavailable, the price will be refunded in cash or credit.
- To exchange a delivered product, you must send it to us at your expense or bring it in. Shipping of a replacement product will incur an additional charge.
- If a delivered product is found to be defective, shipping of a replacement will be free of charge.
- There is no refund for the carrier training fee upon exchange or return of baby carriers.
Class Attendance:
- Classes must be booked in advance through the website or by phone. Evening classes can be canceled up to 4 hours before, and morning classes up to 13 hours before.
- Late arrivals cannot be admitted to classes.
- The Dharma Center reserves the right to make changes to the schedule, including times, class types, and teachers, at any time.
- Advanced classes are subject to studio approval and based on your practice level. - The Dharma Center does not guarantee parking for customers, but parking in the building's lot is usually possible after 5pm on weekdays and Friday mornings when arriving on time for class.
- The Dharma Center is not responsible for practitioners' belongings.
- The current class schedule is not guaranteed and is subject to change according to student and studio needs.
Private Classes at Darma
- Registration and Cancellation Policies:
1. Registration for a private class is done after coordination with the studio and full payment for the class. Registration without prior payment is not possible.
2. For regular private class attendance, payment will be on a monthly basis. Without a regular payment, we cannot reserve the teacher's and studio's time for you on a permanent basis, only for a one-time booking.
3. Cancellation up to 24 hours in advance, and for Sunday classes - by Friday noon. Later cancellations will not be refunded, but the class will be rescheduled without a refund.
4. For pre-paid multiple classes, if you no longer wish to continue, a refund will be provided minus 10% of the class price.
5. The class is for the individual (or number of people) it was booked for. Adding additional students requires prior coordination with the studio and an additional fee.
6. The financial arrangement with the teacher assigned to you (including a substitute teacher) is solely through the studio.
